About Us

Nathan Parcells (values for our project: Stepping In, Differences, Openness, Surprise, Wisdom) is a former startup founder and current executive coach who works with founders, executives, and business owners. Paul Loper (values for our project: Learning, Embodiment, Difference, Creativity, Community) is a deep-rooted dancer, collaborative inquirer, feeling thinker, group facilitator, and committed learner who cares about social justice.

The focus of Nathan's (he/him) work is on team dynamics, navigating differences, and supporting co-founders through transitions. Paul has worked in 21 countries over 4+ decades, the first two of which were onstage—including dancing in two Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies :-) Paul (he/him) created one- or two-man shows in Seattle, Paris, San Francisco, and London. Nathan is an avid rock climber, having explored mountains in places ranging from Yosemite to the Bugaboos.

Paul earned a Ph.D. in Learning and Change in Human Systems. Nathan facilitates leadership groups on the topic of "Risk-Taking and Vulnerability,” and has experience co-leading sessions on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with startup founders and in Talking Circles. Paul now facilitates innovative adult learning and leadership/organizational culture change methodologies, including supporting conversations on race, gender, power, and privilege for more equitable relationships, for Stanford’s and UC-Berkeley’s Business Schools, the Master’s in Leadership Program at St. Mary’s College of California, and the consultancy HaveMoreFUNLIMITED. An avid poet and a fan of most old Russian novels, Nathan finds energy from the outdoors and in deep conversation.
